Available in bulk for your organization. In addition ask how we can customize the book cover with your logo.
I'm laid back and easy going so I will do my best to talk to you as if we are sitting down having a bite to eat, and you just asked me the question - Eric tell me a little bit about yourself and how might we be able to work together?
I'm known as The Magician with a Message, I'll explain that in a moment. Even though I have given thousands of paid presentations for the largest organizations on the planet, I love to speak to social workers, foster parents, youth in foster care basically anyone working to improve the lives of youth when they age out of the foster care system.
Eric at 3 years old
Let Me Explain Why!
After experiencing a failed Adoption I was placed in California's Child Welfare System and I lived in numerous foster homes and group homes until I was eighteen.
During this time in my life I was really going through some serious personal challenges, however I was able to focus on a special gift given to me when I was a little boy.
When I was five years someone taught me a simple magic trick. Shortly after that when I was placed in foster care, the art of magic gave me something positive to focus on while I was being moved from home to home. Magic SAVED my life!
Eric what do you mean?
Trust me when I say I have made my fair share of mistakes, but for the most part I was able to stay out of trouble because I would sit around and practice the art of magic for hours on end, it was insane. Eventually I became really good, so good in fact people started hiring me to entertain at parties.
Well I was hooked, I discovered what I was good at and I decided this was how I was going to make my living. Keep in mind I was just a kid when I made this decision.
Of course I heard nonsense like - Eric you will never succeed and your life will amount to NOTHING! It's Crazy I heard this from a foster home I lived in.
Luckily for me I completely ignored the Haters and when I turned 18 I aged out of foster care I immediately starting living on my own!
With no support system I realized I had some serious decisions to make concerning my life, so I started reading books on Personal Development & Self Help.
I implemented everything I felt would impact my life in a positive way. This really helped me combat some of the negative thoughts I was exposed while growing up and most importantly, giving me a Strong Foundation to TRANSFORM my life.
I served a brief stint in the United States Air Force and worked a few odd jobs before deciding to make my dream come true.
Sometimes you have to make a big change to get incredible results. Here is what I did... I purchased a one-way ticket on a Greyhound bus and moved to Atlanta Georgia. I did not know a single soul and had no place to stay with the intention of making my dream happen.
At This Point In My Life I Had Two Major Goals
1. Have a family I could call my own.
2. Travel the world entertaining audiences with my unique brand of magic.
Guess what, I actually turned my passion for the art of magic into a business. Of course there were some hardships along the way but I finally cracked the code and became a performer and corporate spokesperson for some of the worlds largest corporations.
I was stoked! For a number of years I was Living My Dream when a friend suggested I share my personal story with my audiences.
I asked her WHY - and why would people care? She said when people see you they will make certain assumptions about you, and when they see your show they will have a lot of questions about how you're able to do some of things you do.
Eric You Have A Lot To Offer The World, Share
Your Story And Explain Why You Do What You Do.
One of the things I learned is oftentimes our goals will lead us to our real goal. And that's exactly what happened.
Even though I amazed people for a living, the first time I shared my story & solutions with an audience I was ABSOLUTELY THUNDERSTRUCK by the response. People surrounded me and wanted to know MORE!
This was the first time the questions had nothing to do with how I performed the illusions in my show. Instead everyone wanted to know how I was able to overcome my challenges and live the life I'm currently living.
Magic was my passion and it led me to my purpose.
That's When I Became Known As
The Magician With A Message.
Magicians are notorious for keeping secrets. I love to share one of life's greatest secrets - in the game of life regardless of the cards you were dealt you are not forced to live life according to those cards you can stack the deck in your favor.
That's the signature message I bring to organizations that deal with foster care. I know first hand the challenges you can experience when aging out of the system. Without the proper information to help someone move through life small challenges can spiral out of control into majors issues.
I Have Four Main Programs When I Speak.

"It was delightful to watch the response of audience members, who alternately laughed, “oohhed and aahhed,” and puzzled over Eric’s methods. Everyone present reported that they thoroughly enjoyed the show. In fact, the show was such a success, that we are looking for reasons to have Eric amaze and impress another group and are planning an event next spring. It may well become an annual event for our organization. Hence, I heartily recommend Eric Anderson to you and predict you too will be astonished and surprised!” Jane Hudson – Mentor Network
Since you made it to this point there is a good chance something caught your attention and you want more information about my availability and what do I charge.
When I speak, I charge a premium. I value my time and when I appear at an event I deliver MASSIVE value to the audience and I make you look like a genius for bringing me to the event.
If you are asking me to speak and you don’t have the premium to pay, then please pitch it in a way where it clearly is a win-win for everyone involved.
In 2024 I'm accepting no more then 15 speaking engagements for Human Service Professionals. This is a long way from the 186 events and conferences I spoke at year end and year out for Fortune 500 corporations. I once spoke at three conferences in three States in a twenty six hour period. Whew!
Anyway here is what happens next, lets schedule a telephone conversation about your conference or event.
During this call I will answer any additional questions you have about how I might be able to help you. Naturally I will ask you some questions too. If the date is available I will have a Success Blueprint put together.
Many organizations want to combine experiences based on what they re doing. Based on our conversation the Success Blueprint will outline a few options including the investment.

YES, I got married and now have two Amazing Children! The Anderson Twins. My failed adoption led to me living in foster care & group homes and more importantly prepared me to be a parent. I'm EXCITED to be their Father.
As my kids continue to grow up I can't wait to share the life lessons I wish I would have been taught that would of made my journey a little easier along the way.
One of the lessons I learned in the game of life is "You are not forced to live life based the cards you were dealt. You can stack the deck in your favor and live your life according to those cards."
